FARF (Fanconi Anemia Research Fund)

The Marx family started Team Bravery in 2010, shortly after their daughter, Avery, was diagnosed at age 6. Her diagnosis changed everything for our family.  They decided to take on crazy challenges that push us to our limits, require great strength and perseverance to raise funds for research that could save her life. None of these tough challenges equates to the difficulty that children and adults with FA face just to survive.

As families with FA, we all feel the challenges facing our families every day. As parents, we wish we could solve FA, find the cure, and fix all that is afflicting our children. We wish we could swap places with our daughter, Avery. We would take on FA and let her deal with life's normal challenges. Although we cannot solve FA ourselves or swap places with those who have it, there are epic ways we can all help.

The Fanconi Anemia Research Fund (FARF) is dedicated to funding research to find better treatments and a cure for Fanconi anemia (FA). Life with FA is full of challenges, both medical and psychological, which is why FARF also committed to providing education and support services to affected families worldwide.
